About Paul Ostertag

A Wisconsin native, I grew up in the Madison area and attended Marquette University for my undergraduate studies. I completed my dental program at Marquette University School of Dentistry and furthered my dental education with a general practice residency at the VA hospital in Milwaukee. I then returned to Marquette to complete my orthodontic residency. In addition to practicing at Central Orthodontic Specialists, I am also on the craniofacial team at Marshfield Clinic. I follow high school basketball, and enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hunting, and fishing.

I have to sincerely thank Dr. Brett Barton, DDS, MS for his incredible willingness to take time away from his family during the holidays when the clinic was closed to come in and help us. Dr. Ostertag is kind, thoughtful and a wonderful orthodontist. My daughter had some previous poor experiences with dental and ortho and he won her over which is not easy. He had more than one possible approach to her treatment and that made all the difference.

I am from Florida and am in town for work here in Wi. The hooks for my rubber bands were tearing up my mouth and I needed someone to look at it ASAP as I wouldn’t be home for another two weeks. They were able to take a look at me and help me out same day. The staff were wonderful and the doctor was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this practice if you’re looking for orthodontic needs!

We have had a fantastic experience with Dr. Kreul over the years. He did my first daughter's braces and we had many free consultations for the years preceding her braces. He has been doing free consultations for several years already on my younger daughter. He is always kind, gentle with my children, and respectful. His staff has always been professional in the years since we've been seeing him. I would highly recommend this orthodontist.

I have taken my son here twice for FREE consulations, which is awesome, and will have a few more before his braces are put on. The staff is always very friendly and informative. The building is well maintained and is very nice inside. I would recommended to friends and family.
